2019A short experimental film that showcases the delirious state that a person with insomnia suffers from; which is shown by the prominent use of colors and constat repetition of the sequence of events that occur in the film.
Dysmorphic;
2019A film that sheds a light onto body dysmorphia. It highlights the struggles of a person that suffers from body dysmorphia and what they undergo during their everyday life. The reiteration of events and audio represents the recurring thoughts and emotions that go on in the person’s mind daily. The despair and hopelessness in the main character’s face and the mood-setting speaks for how people suffering from that disorder feel about their appearance.

2020A Poetic documentary is a subtype of documentary filmmaking that strives to evoke a certain mood or feeling rather than prove a point through a traditional linear narrative structure. This short film is a Poetic documentary that revolves around the designer Nora Ziad. Nora Ziad is an Egyptian illustrator, designer, and exhibiting artist based in Dubai. The idea of this poetic documentary mainly relies on a script that both the designer and I developed together. The script highlights on how illustration and art help one to gradually gain more knowledge and feel more connected to a certain thing; that thing mainly being one’s home country in this film.
